Danze Opulence PullOut Faucet I purchased this faucet after looking at many others for my kitchen remodel. It has been installed for about a month now and it looks great. The quality of the faucet is very good and the finish is a nice warm bronze almost coppery bronze color. At first I was a little put off that the pull out spray was not made of metal but after looking at many other faucets of this type I found that none of them were and this one had a much richer feel.
Sturdy Well Made Faucet We are very happy with this faucet. We bought the Black Satin one and it looks great with our multicolored granite countertop. It goes nicely with our country style kitchen. We bought 3 different faucets from local hardware stores but returned them all some did not work right and some did match. Very relieved to find this one on Amazon and it shipped in two days with my prime shipping. We did not install the baseplate since we have an undermount sink. It looks just like the photo on our countertop.Likes. Solid construction. Other faucets we looked at were made of all plastic. Not this one it has some weight to it I think it will stand up.. Black matte color.. Stylish design. Easy to turn on/off and from hot to cold. The handle moves smoothly.. The faucet has a Wide turn radius almost 180 degrees. Softpress button on top to switch from stream to spray. Has a stationary base. The middle of the faucet turns while the base stays put. The base does not move on top of the counter. I'm talking about the bottom part of the faucet itself not the baseplate.. No gap between the faucet and counter top. The other faucets had a gap and gunk would build up making it hard to clean. This faucet fits snugly no gap.DislikesWhen I switch from stream to spray it resets itself back to stream when the water is turned off. I would prefer that it would stay on spray and not reset itself when turned off.In summary this is a quality faucet well worth the cost.
Over A Year Now I'm still very pleased with this faucet. I purchased this in oil rubbed bronze over a year ago and have received a lot of nice compliments. It goes well with my browntoned countertop. It has nice functions pullout faucet changes to a spray with a touch single handle for easy control of water temperature and pressure one hole drilled in countertop plus the style is what I had been looking for. It is a heavy weight faucet that feels more expensive than the great price I paid for it. Check around.
BEWARE OF THIS FAUCET! I purchased this faucet in oil rubbed bronze for a kitchen remodel in 10/09. Within a few months the rubber button on top changing the faucet from spray to stream stopped working. Since it was still a beautiful faucet and because I would need to get a plumber out to replace it I ignored the broken toggle button. One year almost to the exact date of original installation the sprayer hose came out of it housing and leaving us without a usable sink until we could replace the faucet. I called the manufacturer to describe the problem and they promptly sent me a replacement faucet at no charge. I paid a plumber to come out and replace the broken faucet who discovered on removing the old faucet that the bronze finish had completely chipped off under the handle just below where the faucet moves to swivel from side to side. The second faucet failed in exactly the same manner again almost exactly one year from installation. That inside hose carrying water to the sprayer/tap came out of its housing and could not be reattached. Plus the bronze finish of this second faucet had chipped away even more than the first.
worn out I purchased this faucet in 2008. It has held up fairly well with the exception of the rubber cover for the spray / stream option on top. It came loose about a year ago weakened and completely came off a few months back. The faucet still works but one must use the plastic control button that is now exposed. I will be taking the faucet off hoping for a replacement.
Pleased with the purchase While choosing my kitchen faucet the top contenders were the Grohe pullout the Hansgrohe pullout and this the Danze Opulence. I am very glad that I chose the Danze. The price was about half of the others and this faucet has a very distinct beautiful look especially in a more traditionallooking kitchen. The stainless steel color matched my appliances. The pullout hose is braided plastic not braided steel which I would have preferred but it is sturdy and heavy not flimsy. There is no problem with water splashing from the sink and the sprayer works well.I took off a star because the black rubber piece that covers the sprayer on/off button on top of the faucet does not stay on very well.
Beautiful Faucet!! This Danze faucet looks beautiful with my new Blanco Siligranite sink in Anthracite. There are very few black kitchen faucets out there to choose from but this one is beautiful! My plumber said it was fairly easy to install. Since we have only had it for less than a week I cannot speak for its longevity but hopefully it was last for years and years.
ORB is not Other reasons to be cautious I ordered this faucet in ORB after reading reviews here and elsewhere. I am very disappointed in the color & the finish. Not only does it not look like ORB it looks cheap and lowquality. It's not a dark brown with a rubbed finish. Rather it's more of a copperlike faucet with some brown brush strokes on it. I returned it without hesitation.Prior to purchase I had shopped my big box home improvement store. There were a number of ORB finished faucets that looked better and were half the price. Although those faucets might not be Danze quality they are half the price and look so much better.If you want ORB shop around.In addition there are other reasons to be cautious with this brand. The hole needed is larger than standard US sized holes for faucets like Delta Kohler Moen that means if you are drilling granite you may have problems replacing with a US brand in the future. Moreover replacement parts are difficult to come by and rarely stocked by plumbing supply stores. This we learned from our plumber who does not recommend this faucet for this reason.I just don't recommend this item.
Cool sleek functional and beautiful copper faucet! I received my order overnight after another company shipped a copper faucet that was damaged in six places. So I ordered another copper faucet and asked for overnight delivery. The faucet was delivered as promised and was installed this morning. It is absolutely wonderful. Due to my granite counters I did not want to punch any more than one hole in it so I ordered this type of faucet specifically one with one hole and a lever on top to control temperature. The end of the faucet contains a hose which comes out and a button underneath to control the sprayer. The nice thing is that you don't really notice that there IS a sprayer on the end of this faucet! I think it is so cute looks like something from the turn of the century but has superfunctionality did I make that up? Anyway good product and shipping was fast and problem free. I'm quite happy with my faucet.
